With over 26 years of experience, One Step Neuro Physiotherapy specialise in rehabilitation following a stroke, a brain injury and other neurological conditions including Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's Disease amongst others. Our Service is mobile and comes to you at home or at your place or residence. Based in Salisbury, we cover Wiltshire and parts of the surrounding counties of Hampshire, Somerset, Berkshire and Dorset. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

About Us

Kate Floyd is the Owner and Principal Physiotherapist at One Step Neuro Physiotherapy. After graduating from The Queen’s College, Glasgow in 1992 with a BSc in Physiotherapy, her career began in London in the NHS teaching Hospital, St Thomas’s. Following completion of rotations as a junior physiotherapist, her passion for Neuro- Physiotherapy was sparked and she specialised in this field for the majority of her career. Kate has worked in many respected hospitals and facilities, including the Devonshire Hospital, London. Most recently, Kate has worked in Glenside Hospital, Salisbury, continuing her specialist work in the field of Neuro Rehabilitation where she was the Lead Physiotherapist for 6 years. Kate is highly skilled and experienced working with complex disability. Her special interest lies in stroke and brain injury rehabilitation including management of long term and Neuro-behavioural conditions.

Kate works closely with Salisbury Headway as at Trustee, contributing to the development and delivery of the charity's valuable work in supporting our brain injury survivors. Kate is HCPC registered (Health and Care Professions Council), a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and belongs to the special interest group ACPIN (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested In Neurology). She continues to have a passion for life-long learning and has completed numerous post graduate education courses within the field.
