Kate has over 30 years experience as a specialist in the field of neuro physiotherapy and established One Step Neuro Physiotherapy in 2018 in order to offer a much needed service in the area. After graduating from The Queen’s College, Glasgow in 1992 with a BSc in Physiotherapy, her career began in London in the NHS teaching Hospital, St Thomas’s. Following completion of rotations as a junior physiotherapist, her passion for Neuro- Physiotherapy was sparked and she specialised in this field for the majority of her career. Kate has worked in many respected private hospitals and facilities, including the Devonshire Hospital in London. Most recently, Kate worked for 6 years as the Lead Physiotherapist for Glenside Hospital, Salisbury, continuing her specialist work in the field of Neuro Rehabilitation. Kate is highly skilled and experienced working with complex disability, especially passionate in rehabilitating clients suffering from stroke and brain injuries, including the management of long term and neuro-behavioural conditions. Kate particularly promotes self- management and empowers her clients to achieve their goals.

Kate formerly volunteered as a Trustee for Headway Salisbury, contributing to the development and delivery of the charity's valuable work in supporting brain injury survivors. She continues to have a passion for life-long learning and has completed numerous post graduate education courses within the field.
